If you are unfamiliar with Tom, he is an Arlington Heights resident who played football at Buffalo Grove High School, went on to be a captain for the Fighting Irish at the University of Notre Dame, and is now playing for the Baltimore Ravens. The Chicagoland Youth Football League Launches The TCYFL Network

September 30, 2009


The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL), the largest independent youth tackle football league in the United States, will launch its TCYFL Network on Sunday 10/4/09. The TCYFL will broadcast the "TCYFL Game of the Week" on its www.TCYFL.net website with the pre-game show beginning at 6:00 p.m. Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein will host this historic game, pitting Crystal Lake versus Huntley in Big 10 Heavyweight action in the TCYFL's inaugural streaming live webcast.

TCYFL President Geoff Meyer made the announcement today from TCYFL World Headquarters. "This is going to be awesome. We are excited to add this new dimension to the TCYFL experience, applying leading edge technology to expand our League's reach and provide a showcase for our Member Communities. For the rest of this season we will webcast a "TCYFL Game of the Week" featuring various TCYFL teams at different age levels, giving viewers an opportunity to share the thrills and excitement that our players, families and fans enjoy at every game."
